Produce
is grown in Brookings, Oregon also known as the Banana Belt because of
our mild winters and warm summers. Rill Gardens follows earth
friendly Organic growing practices. Our chickens are hormone free
and open grazed.
Check
back weekly. Produce and vegetable start lists are updated on
Sunday evening. Eggs are always available.

White Delaware Chickens
$3.00 each (non sexed) 2 weeks old
This Heritage breed is designated as critically threatened which means there
are fewer than 500 genetic lines of this chicken in the world.
The Delaware Chicken is a good layer. Laying a large light brown egg they will
stay close to the coop and not travel far. They were also bread as a good meat bird.
Welsummer Chickens
$3.00 each (non sexed) 2 weeks old
Welsummer hens lay plentiful amounts of dark brown eggs in their first year, up to 250 eggs.
Welsummers
are very attractive and freindly and even the cockerels do not attack
in the breeding season.
The chicks can be roughly sexed at day old
with the hens having a darker triangle on its head
with a dark line
going back from her eye.
Welsummer hens are mainly non- broody and will usually lay through winter in their first year.
Vegetable & Flower Starts
Vegetable starts will be available in late April.
Vegetable starts are sold in paper planting pots unless otherwise noted.
Vegetable and flower starts are grown using Organic methods.
Unless otherwise noted, starts are grown in our greenhouse
and need to be hardened off before planting.
